NEWMOA | The Science of PFAS: Public Health & the Environment

Vista Analytical is very proud to be a gold sponsor at this inaugural event!  Come join Jennifer Christmann-Miller and Oliver Cawdell as they exhibit, moderate, and speak at this conference organized by the Northeast Waste Management Officials’ Association (NEWMOA) which has partnered with the New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC), the Northeast States for Coordinated Air Use Management (NESCAUM), the Northeast Recycling Council (NERC), and others to organize a regional science conference on PFAS. The goals of the conference are:

  • Ensure that local, state, and federal action to address PFAS contamination is informed by the most current and reliable science
  • Facilitate networking and information-sharing among key stakeholders on PFAS topics
  • Identify important gaps in the science and policy to help inform future research

Jennifer will be moderating the “Biosolids and Tissue Sampling” session which occurs from 11:00 – 12:30 on April 1st, and in this session, Oliver will be speaking on “Extraction & Analytical Challenges for PFAS in Biosolids .”  The two of them will also be exhibiting, so please come listen to the session and stop by the booth if you will be attending!

GRA CA PFAS Focus Conference
